Job Description

Initially your prime responsibility will be to understand the work given by the senior project account engineers and execute each project using industry leading software plus a variety of bespoke in-house tools.

Your eventual goal should be to take final responsibility and understand each individual customer’s requirements and based on that, finalise the full manufacturing process including: selection of machine tools, design of fixtures, selection of cutting tools and CNC programming for the project.

You will then either be able to execute the projects alone or delegate to a team of engineers and take final responsibility for the execution and good governance of the project.

You will primarily be based in the UK at our Mansfield Office, but there will be the necessity to perform activities on customer sites within the region and occasionally in other areas of the UK. Some International travel may also form part of the role.

Qualifications/Experience

• Ideally qualified to HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Engineering Component Production/Manufacturing experience.
• Experience in using at least one of the major CAD/CAM software platforms.
• Passionate about solving technical manufacturing issues.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Literate in ICT particularly Microsoft Office Suite
